Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business
Ellis Room, Friendly Center
Friends gathered with a time of centering and a query from WYM Queries.
Minutes of the October meetingThe minutes were approved with one technical correction.
Treasurer’s Report – Dale Hayes – attached to these minutes
Dale reported that we no longer qualify for the group subscription rate for Quaker Life. Friends must renew individually if they wish to continue receiving the publication.
The meeting currently gets two copies of Quaker Life. We put one copy in Watson Library and one in the meeting house. It was proposed that we reduce this to one copy to be deposited in Watson Library. The meeting
approved.
The college subscribes to Friend’s Journal. We put our copy in the Kelly Center library. It was proposed that we put the current copy in the meeting house and transfer the previous month’s copy to the Kelly Center library. The meeting
approved.
The OVYM assessment has increased by $36. The meeting
approved amending the budget to accommodate the increase. Specifically, the OVYM line is to $1736 and that additional expense is to be offset by increasing the Contribution Meeting Support line to $436.
Dale has been having trouble getting bank statements on time. He has taken steps to get the statements by e-mail.
The report was
approved.
Ministry & Counsel – Roger Schroeder

- Patricia Thomas will reserve Quaker Knoll for us for the weekend of 2-4 Feb, or the next nearest suitable weekend
